We currently ship from and to the United States only. If you're unable to complete a purchase because your country does not appear as an option during checkout, unfortunately we are not yet shipping to your country.

Service method
The Serious Teddy Bear Company utilizes the United States Postal Service (USPS) for all orders.

Daily cut-off for shipping
We strive for same day shipping service on orders, Monday - Friday! We will ship your order the same day the order is placed if your order is on a weekday before 4:00pm Eastern Time zone (EST/EDT). The cutoff is 4pm Eastern time zone in the United States, but in most cases if you've placed your order before 4pm Eastern, it will ship that same day (weekdays only, Monday through Friday). If an order is received any weekday after 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time zone (EST) it will be shipped out the following business day (Mon-Fri). For example, if you order on a Friday after 4:00pm EST, it will be shipped out on Monday which is the next business day.

Overnight shipping
In most cases your order can be shipped overnight as long as we receive your order before 4:00pm Eastern time zone, Monday through Friday. USPS delivers overnight packages on Saturdays, so an order placed on Friday before 4:00pm Eastern time zone will arrive on Saturday within the United States as long as the method of service is "overnight" for your order. On rare occasions some Priority Express shipments might take an extra day if the area your 'Hugs" are going to is a more remote area or not serviced by a Post Office near the zip code area "Hugs" is going to.

If you're ordering one of our "Hug-Gram" Boxes, each one comes with the option to select either our fun standard outer shipping box or our Super Secret outer shipping box.

Standard Outer Shipping Box (with The Serious Teddy Bear Logo):

Our standard cardboard outer shipping box is perfect for gift giving. When the package arrives, the smiles will start before they even open the box! That's because this is no ordinary brown shipping box - it's a special brown box with "The Serious Teddy Bear Company" logo tastefully printed - which essentially says to the gift recipient "something very special is inside!". They'll be very excited!

Super Secret Outer Shipping Box (with No Logo): 

Sometimes our customers want to send the box to themselves so they can personally hand deliver the gift - and they don't want others to wonder what is inside until just the right time. This is especially true if they live with others and they want it to be a secret. If you select "Super Secret outer shipping box", we will change our standard materials for you! Instead of our normal packaging, we will use a plain brown shipping carton and an abbreviated company name on the return address label so that it doesn't give away any clues about what's inside the box. They'll never know what it is until the outer shipping box is opened and they see the elegant black and gray striped Hugs Box which is waiting inside!

Sophisticated and heartfelt, our Extra Special Mother's Day Hugs Box is the perfect gift for your mom on her special day. Send her a big hug with Hugs the bear, our lovely teddy bear for grown ups.
