It's important that you know that we're the Serious Teddy Bear Company. We don't now nor will we ever dress up our bears. We want the spotlight and emphasis simply put, to be on the Bear itself and not on any accessories or cute clothing he might be wearing.

Our Teddy Bear represents the most important thing, Your Hugs. Hence, obviously, this is why his name is "Hugs" to begin with. We want the receiver to thank the giver for sending their hugs to them. We want them, as they so often do, to say "thanks for the Hugs, I needed that". That's the magic we strive for.

What we don't want is someone saying "Oh, I got the teddy bear and he's just so cute in his little outfit." If this is what you want then we respectfully say you don't need us. But if it's your Hugs that you feel someone needs or deserves then we're here for you and always will be.

Hugs was created for one reason: To assist people in communicating their feelings and to be the vehicle for those wishing to Hug someone -- particularly if they are unable to do so in person.

Life is such that many need a Hug more than ever before! They need to know that someone cares!

Simply tell us who you feel is deserving or in need of your Hugs and we'll see to it that they get them.
